If you are looking for a more modern Risk-like strategy game (like I was) this may not be for you.
Despite all the nice window dressing, there simply isnt very much to this game. The average game lasts about 3 minutes and theres no room for strategic depth at all. You have to attack all the time or you will lose.
And the game is mostly all graphical fluff and no substance. The direction of your society (capitalist, theocratic, militaristic, etc) just change spawn and cool down times.
The god powers are nothing more than flashy status ailments and area of affect attack hooked up to an automatically refilling timer. Which would be fine if they seemed to affect the game at all, but they dont.
The in-app purchases are not terribly offensive, but it seems like you should get more for the $3 dollars. Eventually the missions you are given to earn store money in-game without spending real cash requires you buy stuff to complete them.
